The Wizard of Oz opens tonight at Conneaut High School

The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic musical that can be enjoyed by all ages. In the upcoming production at Conneaut High School, the students were excited to involve middle school kids as well. The result was a wonderful collaboration that brought the magic of Oz to life in a unique and special way.

The first step in organizing the production was to cast the right actors for the roles. The high school students were excited to mentor and guide the middle school students in their performances. They spent time teaching them the songs and dances, and worked together to develop the characters and bring them to life on stage.

The set design was also an important part of the production. The students worked together to create a colorful and imaginative world that would transport the audience to the land of Oz.

One of the challenges of every production is the choreography. The students had to work together to master the dance routines that would help bring the story to life. The high school students were patient and supportive of the middle school kids, and they worked hard to ensure that everyone was able to perform the dances with confidence.

The collaboration between the high school and middle school students was truly remarkable. The older students were able to act as role models and mentors for the younger ones, while the middle school students brought a fresh and enthusiastic energy to the production. Together, they created a magical world that captivated the audience and brought joy to everyone who watched.

In conclusion, the Wizard of Oz musical production at Conneaut High School will be a wonderful collaboration between high school and middle school students with performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM.
