The summer theater season is starting to take shape in and around Ashtabula County as the Ashtabula Arts Center has announced their Straw Hat Theatre summer lineup. Three musicals, each on-stage for 2-weeks, will be featured this summer on the AAC’s outdoor thrust stage and here is a quick look at each.

Godspell – Godspell will be directed by Kimberly Godfrey-Warren and will be performed June 17-19 and 24-26.

Descendants – Disney’s Descendants will be directed by Mary Ann Kline and will be performed July 8-10 and 15-17.

First Date – First Date will be directed by Stephen Rhodes and will be performed July 29-31 and August 5-7.

Auditions for all three shows will be held on March 19 & 20 at the Ashtabula Arts Center.
