The Academy Theatre in Meadville, PA, is no stranger to the staff here at LocalTheatre-fans.com after seeing their production of The Sound of Music last month. Located on Chestnut Street in Meadville, the former Opera House puts on quality productions and has a fantastic location in town. As the organization looks to continue to build on their fine reputation, their 2023-2024 season will take viewers on a “Journey to the Past.” Here is al look at what they have planned.

Young Frankenstein – Young Frankenstein will be on stage in Meadville for three weekends, October 6-22.

Frozen – Disney’s Frozen tells the story of sisters Anna and Elsa for two weekends in December, running December 8-17.

Anastasia – Anastasia graces the stage of the Academy Theatre throughout the month of February running from February 2-25.

Fiddler on the Roof – A musical classic, Fiddler on the Roof will be on stage from April 12 through May 5.

Jersey Boys – The popular Jersey Boys will hit the stage from July 12 through August 4.
